Pét Nat Ramato | Estate Pinot Gris Skin Contact | 11.8%

2022 late harvest estate grown pinot gris.  The fruit was harvested from a zero spray (no chemicals whatsoever) block of our vineyard that is growing on the edge of cedar, Doug fir and big leaf maple forest.  The fruit was hand harvested in late October, crushed and destemmed the same night, and fermented on the skins and rose quartz crystals for many weeks at low temperatures (as the ambient air was quite cold). The lot was bottled and cellared for a year before release during harvest of 2023.  

This wine is one of our absolute favorites we've ever made.  It's completely dry, fruity and complex.  It's has layers to dive into on the palate with subtle yet grippy tannins tannins and tempered acidity.
